WHAT A YEAR ITS BEEN SO FAR!!!

WOW. i totally neglected my blog for a good year. and what a year its proven to been. alot of things have changed since my last entry. mostly personal issues, but all is well.

On a more interesting note..my favorite guitar, Korean made Ibanez RG7321 7 string, got stolen, along with my favorite Digitech Hardwire TL-2 Metal Distortion, somewhere between end of December to early January. The stuff was at my friend Gregs house at the time, we were back in Kuching for the holidays when someone broke into his place and took my stuff, along with his Ibanez Iceman IC400, Plasma TV, DVD player, most of his work clothes etc... and even finished the tuak in his fridge.

About a month later, we managed to track down the thief, and recover most of our stuff.

I work for the CIA, so the asshole chose the wrong guy to jack.

Actually, he was dumb enough to try sell both our guitars on mudah.com.my, Malaysia's equivalent to Ebay. Of course we grew suspicious as suddenly two guitars that fit the description of ours ended up posted on the site on the same day. So i posed as a potential buyer, sent an email, and after a few days, he called me regarding the items. A phone call, that would prove very regretful....to him.

Found out that he was actually a boyfriend to one of Gregs sisters friend, who has been to his place a couple of times and managed to steal one of their spare keys.

To cut a long story short, we met, he fled, we got our guitars back, cops found out that the car he drove was also stolen, and a little more digging led us to find that there were many more theft cases against him. And hes only 20 years old.

well, i guess i cant say more than that since its an ongoing investigation.

ANYWAY, playing in a death metal band right now, with Greg on lead guitars, Nick on bass, Jeremy Balong on drums, and Aziz vocals.

been much more fun than the previous radio-friendly-indie-pop-jazz wannabe band i played in where i felt disconnected from my true musical soul. yes im taking a stab at my previous band. deal with it guys.

currently finished recording guitar tracks for 2 songs.
