WHOA....im alive?

MY FIRST POST OF THE YEAR!AND YOU ALL THOUGHT I DIED! hahahhaha....

just the right time to start posting again, cos i can wish everyone a happy new year, chinese new year and valentines all at once!

yeah..been busy...studies...and writing music again.....and almost killing a few people along the way :D

the band played a gig at miami bar end of last month...sadly without our frontman who had personal errands. But as they say, the show must go on. and it did. shuffled the lineup a little, with Daus taking up vocal duty at the very last minute, End going back to his most familiar position behind the drums and with new recruit Ernest on Bass.

other than that, music wise, my guitarist Shawn, has wrote a few other songs (with me taking up a more backseat role,solely as a musician...but at the same time also as co-producer....ok i just confused myself as well :) .

Shawns material is different than Redqueen's style and concept so this probably is the birth of a side project, or in a way, Shawns solo project. His style of writing and musical influences are somewhat different than mine, but its kinda fun for me exploring different genres of music as well.

Rather than my dark, moody riffs, Shawn's songs are of a lively, acoustic driven post-punk, power pop, pop rock,brit pop genre more likened to Sparta, the verve,oasis etc...

as for Redqueen, yeah were still here, currently arranging a few songs, including "chasing daylight" which will probably be the first to be recorded soon.

thats probably the first time ive named a song before it hit the studios...just waiting for everything to fall into place now.

wow...i didnt use any foul words in this post. no sarcastic jokes...OMG what the fuck is happening to me? haha. im getting old. shit.
