To power it up, i got a Herts Acoustic 1500w Monoblock amplifier, which for the life of me, I have no idea what the exact specifications are,except that its one of the cheapest pretty good quality monoblock amps you could find. heres the pic
Overall, its a pretty good setup for a limited budget, the subwoofer kicked the ass of a single coil Pioneer sub, It has a deep bass tone to it, compared to the hard bass tone of the Pioneer as well. The deeper tone suits my choice of music better, which mostly includes most types of Metal, Rock, Industrial and the occasional R&B when im...bored. heh.
I wonder how a deep bass subwoofer and a hard bass sub would sound like if paired together? hmmm...maybe ill experiment soon.
